Meet Project Read, the well-deserved winner of our 2023 Design for Good initiative! Dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds acquire essential skills, Project Read focuses on literacy, basic math, and digital proficiency. Collaborating closely with this inspiring group, our team embarked on the exciting journey of redesigning their website, culminating in the unveiling of Project Read's visually stunning and user-friendly digital space to mark their 40th anniversary.

The most important part of Project Read's new website is its commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. By employing an accessible combination of colors, graphics, and user-friendly features, we worked to ensured that individuals of all abilities can easily navigate the site and sign up for classes. Recognizing the importance of accessibility, we took extra care to make the site screen reader-friendly, so that everyone, regardless of their abilities, can access the  information and resources provided by Project Read. Lastly we utilized video wherever possible to ensure multiple ways of accessing information on the site.

This project is a great example of how thoughtful web design can transform digital spaces into inclusive, empowering platforms for positive change. We truly believe in what Project Read does and we are honored to support them in this cause.
