Living Home Construction

Living Home Construction is a local firm specializing in new construction and renovation services for local Utah homeowners and commercial clients. They don’t just build houses — it’s important to them to also build lasting partnerships. They not only treat their clients as partners, but also the other professionals they work with on projects — architects, designers, fabricators, and more. 

Third Sun not only admires Living Home’s emphasis on the value of relationships and collaboration, we’re also part of it. We’ve had the pleasure of working with them for several years, and over time our partnership has expanded to include a broad expanse of work from branding to web, print, marketing, and social media.

Though it wasn't the first piece we came together to work on, their branding is the first that meets the eye. They'd had a home motif since their founding, but a few years ago we redesigned it to match the modern persona that the company has grown into. We also recently modified the branding slightly to reflect a name adjustment (from Living Home Construction and Design) to more accurately reflect the nature of their work.

For the web, we’ve crafted several iterations of their website. We wanted the site to reflect their dedication to high-quality work and excellent customer service, and showcase imagery of their beautiful work. There is a portfolio with galleries that can be sorted by the type of work involved. We also featured testimonials from clients and collaborators to show what the Living Home experience is like. We also manage their website for them — adding in things like staff members and new projects. We also not only update their blog, but we write the majority of the posts after gathering information and insight from them on relevant topics. 

In addition to maintaining their site and writing blogs, we also manage their Instagram and write and send their periodic enewsletters. Working with a vast collection of photos, we craft captions and come up with topical posts on a weekly basis. 

Outside of the digital realm we’ve worked on numerous print projects for Living Home — we’ve crafted business cards, custom annual holiday cards, and a variety of styled documents. Possibly the most unique and collaborative print item we’ve worked on is a set of colorful, study cards highlighting their process and projects that nestle perfectly into walnut and metal envelopes designed and custom-built by Living Home. The card sets are to share with others in the trade, and the presentation is one of a kind.

These are just a few highlights from our years-long working relationship of projects big and small, this portfolio could go on and on if we tried to include it all.
