SLC Mosquito Abatement District

Salt Lake City Mosquito Abatement District is a globally recognized leader in mosquito surveillance, research, and integrated management, protecting residents from mosquito-borne disease through science-driven methods rather than blanket spraying. Despite that reputation, the District faced a communication challenge: residents often assume the worst about what they do, worrying about pesticide exposure, harm to bees and wetlands, or wondering why the District doesn't just rely on bats or dragonflies.

The SLC MAD now has an online resource that reflects the seriousness of their work while being stylish and inviting.
