Jocelyn is a writer, nonprofit enthusiast, and audience advocate. Formerly the Development Director at KRCL, she honed her skills writing grants and making presentations for a Jewish-Arab peace organization in Los Angeles, where she also learned to design the organization's first website way back in 2000. Today, Jocelyn is an experienced guide, helping clients through projects from start to finish. She has a knack for helping them find their unique voice and message, supporting their efforts long after website launches.
A graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program, Jocelyn keeps the Third Sun machine running smoothly, from seamless project management to business development. Her expertise spans writing, message-creating, conversational Spanish, and just enough CSS to get herself in trouble. Jocelyn holds master's and bachelor's degrees in English from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Women's Studies.
In the community, Jocelyn serves on the board for Friends for Sight and the Business Advisory Board for Salt Lake City. She has also held past board terms for Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity and Local First Utah. When she's not at work, Jocelyn can be found indulging her love of live music, skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer, and traveling to distant lands to explore new vistas the rest of the year.
