Wood River Land Trust

Wood River Land Trust is an organization based in Sun Valley, Idaho, working to protect the surrounding area through nature preserves and conservation easements. They came to us to create a new website that showcases their array of treasured properties, teaches why they are important, and shares how to join in protecting wild spaces.

Because the subject matter is so visually rich, we set out to create designs reflecting that beauty through vivid homepage videos of their Idaho landscapes, beautiful photographs, and watercolor accents of mountains throughout the site.

We also wanted to share a little bit of nature’s playfulness too, with a rotating cast of watercolor critters that can be found resting on the footer — see if you can spot them all!

Looking good is one thing, but the site needs to be practical as well. We created sortable sections for all their properties — public access preserves with directions and maps, and also conservation easements that aren’t open to the public but still contain galleries and details. The site also contains information on efforts like river restoration and how to volunteer and join their efforts. The new Wood River Land Trust website is a valued resource for all the vital details on these irreplaceable, wonderful places.
