Goodbye 2021
What a year it’s been! We definitely can’t say we don’t want it to end, but 2021 has had its share of good moments mixed in with the chaos and doldrums. In these times (and always) reflecting on the good in our world can brighten and bolster our spirits immeasurably.
So Many Great Projects, So Little Blog Space
At Third Sun, some of the year’s bright spots have come from collaborating with clients on delightful and sometimes unexpected projects. You can read about many of them in our portfolio, and here’s a small selection of some (but not all!) of the highlights:
We Loved Seeing You (and Each Other) Again
An additional source of joy this year has been (carefully) seeing folks in person again! After spending 2020 at home, it’s been good to spend a little time in the office together and see some of you face to face. Though we do appreciate how Zoom has let us reach some of you in new ways!
One highlight for the Third Sun team was enjoying the Utah Arts Festival’s in-person reboot in August! We also hosted our annual Utah Ale Trail Fall Crawl which was stretched out over three days to reduce crowding, and it was fantastic to see so many folks support their favorite breweries and maybe even discover new places to grab a beer with friends.
This One Got Our Tails Wagging
One shared value that is at the heart of what we do is giving back and trying to honor the folks who make our communities better. While we have always offered some in-kind work to nonprofits, for the past 5 years we’ve focused our efforts on our Design for Good Community Grant. This year’s grantee, Underdog Animal Rescue and Rehab, was a gem. We loved having the opportunity to get to know them and creating a website to help them serve and grow their efforts to treat and rescue dogs in the reservations of the Four Corners region. How could we not love building a site full of pictures of puppies?!

Holiday shopping time is here! We put together a small sampling of our picks for giftable goodies from local places (and our clients) to get your list started:
